Leeds and Brentford team news as Gudmundsson banned and visitors face injury list | OneFootball

Leeds United host Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday, with Gabriel Gudmundsson suspended and the visitors dealing with multiple injuries.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke’s side drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace, playing the second half with 10 men after Gudmundsson’s dismissal. Leeds are otherwise in a good place fitness-wise.

Brentford will be without Fabio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo for the season following anterior cruciate ligament surgery in November.

Josh Dasilva remains on the comeback trail after ACL surgery and two subsequent operations towards the end of last season. He has returned to some first-team training this month and is being carefully managed.

Rico Henry has a hamstring problem and is expected to miss a number of weeks. He is not due back soon.

Aaron Hickey suffered a hamstring injury against Brighton last month and is not expected to return until after the international break.

Vitaly Janelt, who injured a metatarsal in the Brighton game, is also ruled out until after the break.
