Leeds United supporters heading to Elland Road for Sunday’s Brentford fixture are being warned to expect new arrangements for parking, shuttle buses and West Stand entry.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, it is the club’s first home league game of the season and matchday travel and access procedures have been revised.
Council car parks must now be pre-booked on a game-by-game basis. There is no pay-on-the-day option and anyone arriving without a reservation will be turned away.
Spaces are prioritised for current Season Ticket Holders and Members with a valid match ticket, allocated first come, first served and limited to one per supporter. Car and motorcycle spaces cost £13.00, which includes a £1.00 booking fee.
Parking is sold via the club’s online ticketing platform. Digital passes must be downloaded to Google Pay or Apple Wallet before arrival, and screenshots or email confirmations will not be accepted, so ensure your phone is charged.
The usual shuttle from Sovereign Street will move to Meadow Lane for this match only, due to the Leeds Festival using the coach space. Signage arranged with Leeds City Council will direct fans over the river, with the easiest route via the David Oluwale Bridge. Allow extra travel time, with normal service due to resume for Newcastle United’s visit on Monday, 14 September.
Due to West Stand redevelopment, the main West Stand Gate next to Howard’s will be for away fans only. It will also be the sole access for home fans in C15, C16 and C17 if the away allocation is not fully sold, and for designated accessible tickets in South Stand Lower FA6.
All other West Stand general admission tickets will enter via Entrances four, five and six, accessible from Gate four on Lowfields Road (North East Corner), Gate two on Bobby Collins Way and Gate one on Bobby Collins Way (North West Corner). A new external hospitality building sits behind the North Stand, with a designated walking route to West Stand seating, and the new North Stand Ticket Office on Lowfields Road replaces the former West Stand office.
