Leeds are pursuing a loan for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk as left wing remains a priority. Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has indicated a decision on the Ukrainian's future will not be rushed.

BBC Sport reports that Leeds saw an initial season-long loan proposal rejected, although dialogue between the clubs has continued into the final week of the window.

Asked about including Mudryk against Fulham tonight, Alonso said his staff still have time to decide and will act at the right moment rather than rushing.

Leeds have until 11pm on Tuesday September 1 to complete business and expect at least a couple of arrivals. They are not thought to be pursuing Liam Delap, with Chelsea valuing the striker at £40m.

Daniel Farke's side opened their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest, Anton Stach scoring an 88th-minute free-kick after a strong defensive display. They return to the City Ground in just over 24 hours for a Carabao Cup second round tie.

Joel Piroe and Sebastiaan Bornauw both left on loan last week, joining West Ham and Hamburg respectively. Goalkeeper Lucas Perri is expected to follow, with Torino still viewed as his most likely destination.
