Leeds industrial unit to become indoor five-a-side pitch after council sign-off

An industrial unit in south Leeds will become an indoor five-a-side football venue.

The scheme will convert Chengate House on Pepper Road in Hunslet, adding changing rooms, spectator seating and a reception area.

The unit sits within a commercial area with strong transport links, easy access and nearby homes, and the project would return the building to public use.

Leeds City Council approved the change of use on 27 March.

An artificial pitch will be open to the public from nine am to 10pm daily.
