Leeds United could move for Derby County and USA striker Patrick Agyemang this summer as they assess competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Football Insider reports that the club may seek a new centre-forward, with Agyemang among the options.
Leeds are three points outside the relegation zone with eight games remaining. They are winless in the league since 6 February, have drawn three of the last five, scored three times in that stretch and none in the last three.
Their issues were underlined on Sunday when top scorer Calvert-Lewin struck a first-half penalty wide in a 0-0 at Crystal Palace. He has 10 goals this season, only two in 2026, and Leeds may need him to rediscover form to stay up.
The 11-cap England forward joined on a free after leaving Everton last summer. The report adds there are doubts over his consistency, so a signing to compete with or even displace him is being considered.
Agyemang, 25, was a late bloomer after the American college route, turning professional in 2023. The USA international, capped 12 times, has hit double figures in his first season in England with Derby and is also of interest to Crystal Palace. Derby, still chasing the play-offs, would be reluctant sellers, though a premium offer could take him to the Premier League.
