Leeds host Crystal Palace at 2pm on Sunday, their final match before the international break, with fresh setbacks leaving seven out and one doubt, though two return.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds expect Gabi Gudmundsson to be available after cramp in the 4-1 win over Newcastle, and Ilia Gruev is back in contention after a knee injury and an U21s run-out. Gudmundsson was replaced by Melvin Bard around 70 minutes on Monday.
Leeds have had five days without a game since Monday’s 4-1 victory. Palace had a quick turnaround after Thursday’s 4-0 Europa League win over Lech Poznan, when Eddie Nketiah came off the bench to score.
Ismaila Sarr has returned from a groin injury and may start at Elland Road, though he is not expected to complete 90 minutes.
Goalkeeper Dean Henderson is sidelined by a foot issue and is unlikely to return before the break.
Defender Chadi Riad tore his ACL and is expected to miss the season.
