Leeds United face an earlier 7pm deadline to complete any January business, with the window closing tonight. The club head into the final day after Saturday’s 4-0 home defeat by Arsenal.

“Yes and the board knows my thoughts about what we should do with this window and they know my honest opinion about everything and that's it. "Otherwise I don't want to give too many comments, we can then judge and interpret the transfer window after it's closed. "But right now I don't want to put any quotes out anyhow because in January it is a difficult window anyway and it makes life sometimes even more difficult. "We have shown we have enough to stay in this league and whatever happens anyhow we will also have enough after what the next 48 hours will bring.” He was speaking to BBC Radio Leeds.

Farke was later asked about the goalkeeping situation in his post-match press conference and whether further strengthening had been discussed this month. He declined to go into specifics, arguing that public comment can make a difficult January market even harder.

He said the board knows precisely how he views the window. He added that Leeds always look to improve and bring in quality, especially where they may be weaker, but his focus remains on the players available and making the best decisions.

Updates across deadline day are set to track developments from Elland Road and rival clubs until close of play. This is the final opportunity to act before the summer.
