Leeds United will be without Wales international Harry Wilson for Sunday’s Premier League visit of Crystal Palace after a quad injury, though Ilia Gruev is back in the mix.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke said on Friday that Wilson suffered a quad problem in the last game and he hopes to have him back after the international break.

Centre-back Joe Rodon remains sidelined following the hamstring injury sustained in the 1-1 draw with Brentford at the end of August, an absence initially estimated at eight to 10 weeks. Leeds beat Newcastle United 4-1 on Monday to move third in the early table after four games.

Farke added that, aside from long-term absentee Mateo Joseph and Rodon, all others are available. Gruev, the Bulgaria midfielder, played nearly 90 minutes for the under-21s in his recovery from a meniscus knee injury and is in contention this weekend.

Wilson will probably also miss Wales’ upcoming fixtures.
