Birmingham City, Derby County, and West Ham United should prepare moves for Leeds United's Largie Ramazani this summer

Leeds United have a decision to make regarding the future of Belgian winger Largie Ramazani this summer, and should the West Yorkshire outfit sanction his departure, FLW has taken a look at three EFL clubs that must be on alert for his services.

Ramazani, 25, came through the youth system at Manchester United and made one senior appearance for the Red Devils before switching to Spanish side Almeria in 2020.

The Belgian would make a name for himself at the Spanish club, scoring 22 and assisting seven in 128 games across all competitions, prompting Leeds to part ways with around €11.7 million (£10 million) for his services in the summer of 2024.

However, since his switch to Elland Road, Ramazani has struggled to force his way into Daniel Farke's plans, making just 31 appearances in two years for the Whites, and spent last season out on loan in La Liga with Valencia.

Carlos Corberan's side have made a loan-to-buy offer for the Belgian once again this summer, but that has been rejected, as FLW names three Championship clubs that should be in the hunt for his signature this summer.

Birmingham City

Birmingham City have a gap on the left wing following the end of Ibrahim Osman's loan spell from Brighton and Hove Albion, and Chris Davies' side have already made attempts to fill that void.

According to the Daily Mail, Birmingham retains an interest in re-signing Osman on loan once again this summer, and is awaiting a final decision from the Premier League outfit as to whether they will sanction his departure in the coming weeks.

However, should a move for the electric Ghanaian winger fall through, Birmingham should instead prepare a move for Ramazani to fill that void.

With Leeds likely happy to allow the Belgian to depart for a reasonable fee, the Blues have not been shy about stumping up the funds for players over the past couple of years, and could do so in the case of Ramazani.

The 25-year-old managed just 783 minutes of Championship football for Leeds across 29 appearances, yet despite this, managed to score six and assist twice, averaging a direct goal contribution in the division just under every 100 minutes.

If he can replicate that form in the Second City, Birmingham's push for Premier League football will see a significant boost, as Davies should plot this move ASAP.

Norwich City has recently confirmed the injury of Canadian winger Ali Ahmed, who is set to miss the entirety of the campaign after suffering an ACL injury in a pre-season match.

The Canaries have struggled with wide options over the past few years when it comes to injuries, with each of Ante Crnac, Pape Diallo, Forson Amankwah, and Matej Jurasek missing large portions of last season due to spending time in the treatment room.

Ahmed's injury is the latest in a long line of disappointment for the Norfolk-based outfit, as Bologna winger Benjamin Dominguez has been identified as a potential replacement recently.

However, Belgian head coach Philippe Clement should instead consider a move for his compatriot Ramazani, with the 25-year-old having the potential to be a real star at Carrow Road.

Best off the left where he can cut in on his preferred right foot, Ramazani would be the ideal replacement for Ahmed on that flank, as a loan move with an option or obligation to buy would suit the Canaries to a T.

Whether Leeds would prefer a straight sale to recoup their money now remains to be seen, but as an option to complement Andre Brooks from the other flank, Ramazani would be an excellent option.

West Ham United

West Ham United have finally begun their summer window with the free addition of Joel Veltman following the Dutchman's release from Brighton.

Keiber Lamadrid's loan move became permanent as their only other addition thus far, but things are beginning to heat up in East London, with a move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon close to being complete, and Irish striker Troy Parrott being actively pursued.

Solomon will help to replace the presence of former Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville on the left flank following his lucrative switch to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, but the Hammers ought not to be done there and should prepare a move for another Leeds forward in the form of Ramazani.

Having found huge success with the deal for Summerville, Nuno Espirito Santo should look to the West Yorkshire outfit once again over a potential deal for the Belgian.

Money certainly won't be an issue for the Hammers, and if any side can stump up the money for Ramazani in the Championship, it would be West Ham.
