Leeds United supporters, delighted with three signings so far, are increasingly worried about a lack of defenders and have urged The 49ers to move for Fikayo Tomori.

On Thursday, Fabrizio Romano reported on X that AC Milan have put the England international up for sale, with the club aiming to cash in over the coming weeks.

With Daniel Farke set to persist with a 3-5-2, Leeds require more central options. Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Tarik Muharemovic are expected to start at Forest on 22 August. Sebastiaan Bornauw is direct cover and James Justin can operate on either side.

Justin is tipped to start at left-back at Forest with Gabi Gudmundsson injured. Bornauw could yet join Hamburg, despite fans urging the club to keep him after last night’s display.

Supporters want a centre-back and competition for Gudmundsson on the left, and many have asked the club to consider Tomori, who would likely replace Bijol in the middle if he arrived.

Leeds’ remaining priorities are expected to include a back-up goalkeeper, a centre-back, a left-back and competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin up front. How much room is left in the budget is unclear.
