Leeds United visit Everton on Monday with uncertainty over Gabriel Gudmundsson, though Daniel Farke reports an improving injury picture and a brighter update on Jaka Bijol.

According to Leeds Live, Gudmundsson has a groin, described as an abductor, issue and sat out Thursday’s session, leaving him at risk of missing out. Leeds are taking a cautious approach with the Premier League trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium not until Monday evening.

Farke said the group from the last game is largely available. Anton Stach was partially integrated into training after an adductor strain and is expected to be in contention. Daniel James has also started training again after a prolonged absence.

Bijol missed last weekend with a hamstring strain, which Farke initially feared could sideline the centre-back for five weeks. Rehab has started and the outlook is better than first thought.

Farke said the three to five week estimate may lean to the shorter side, with Bijol already doing gym work and hoped back in team training in two to three weeks. He hopes Gudmundsson will make it, but his availability remains in doubt.
