The run-in brings mixed fortunes for Leeds United’s loanees, with Max Wober finally making his Bundesliga bow for Werder Bremen.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the Austrian had not played a minute of 2025/26 league action after two injuries, missing 14 matches, a bench return, then another 14. He came on for 25 minutes against Stuttgart on Sunday. Bremen are 12th, with Freiburg, Bayern Munich and St Pauli to come.
Mateo Joseph’s spell at Mallorca is over after an ACL injury. Before that setback he started 19 La Liga games and made 10 further outings from the bench, scoring twice and supplying four assists. Mallorca have five to play and sit one point, and one place, above the drop zone.
Largie Ramazani has timed his breakthrough at Valencia late but well. Having not started before mid February, he has begun 10 straight league games, scoring five. Four of those goals helped secure wins that keep Valencia five points clear of danger.
Wober joined Leeds in January 2023 on a four-and-a-half-year deal to summer 2027. He activated a loan clause after the 2023 relegation and spent a season with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Last term he returned but two knee operations limited him to eight Championship appearances, only two starts, and he has featured 28 times for Leeds in total, so a summer exit feels inevitable.
