Leeds United visit Tottenham Hotspur on Monday, their penultimate away trip, with a chance to secure Premier League safety. Victory in north London would confirm it regardless, though survival could be sealed earlier if West Ham lose to Arsenal.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke was unwell on Friday so assistant Edmund Riemer fronted the media and outlined an injury blow, with in-form Noah Okafor set to miss two games due to a calf strain. Pascal Struijk did not train with the group, but there was hope he would be ready by Monday.
Gabriel Gudmundsson remains out with a hamstring issue, while Ilia Gruev’s season is over after a meniscus injury. That context frames the likely selections for the trip to London.
A predicted XI includes Karl Darlow in goal after the frustration of a soft concession at Burnley, and the Welshman may also be mindful of a potential new contract this summer. Joe Rodon, largely untested at Burnley, could anchor defence against his former club alongside Jaka Bijol, who showed smart passing last weekend and may instead contend with Richarlison’s movement rather than a physical duel with Dominic Solanke.
Struijk is a possible third centre-back, shakier of late but still broadly assured, with Leeds after another Bournemouth-style showing if he is passed fit. Jayden Bogle at right wing-back supplied a fine assist last weekend, his first since early December, and is likely to face greater defensive demands at Spurs.
