Leeds United will hand out at least three competitive home debuts against Brentford on Sunday, possibly four.
According to Leeds Live, James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson featured at Elland Road in pre-season while the West Stand was closed, so Sunday will be their first competitive home outing. Nico Elvedi has yet to experience a matchday in LS11.
Elvedi is likely to start on the bench despite an encouraging League Cup display at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday. Noah Okafor also started there. Joe Rodon and Jaka Bijol are expected to join Muharemovic in the back three shielding Trafford.
With Gabriel Gudmundsson likely not ready after his hamstring issue, midweek goalscorer James Justin will start on the left. Jayden Bogle will begin on the right and could drift into the 10 role, with Ethan Ampadu alongside Anton Stach in midfield.
Neither Sean Longstaff nor Ao Tanaka did enough to dislodge Stach, while Ilia Gruev needs time to get up to speed after April's knee injury.
Noah Okafor could start his first Premier League match of the season on the left after building fitness following his late return post Switzerland's World Cup quarter-final run. If he does, Brenden Aaronson would likely make way, with Wilson in the other wide 10 slot behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1):Trafford; Rodon, Bijol, Muharemovic; Bogle, Ampadu, Stach, Justin; Wilson, Okafor; Calvert-Lewin.
