Leeds United 'reach agreement' to sign Michael Zetterer | OneFootball

According to Sky Germany, Premier League club Leeds United have agreed a permanent deal worth around €5m with Eintracht Frankfurt for 31-year-old goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.

Zetterer is now discussing personal terms with Leeds, and an agreement has not yet been finalised. The club intend to make him their number two after Lucas Perri left for Serie A side Torino.

Head coach Daniel Farke declined to confirm the move at his pre-match press conference before hosting Brentford on Sunday. He said he would only speak once everything is done and would not comment until a deal is signed, though he acknowledged they are close to bringing someone in.

Zetterer has made 22 league appearances for Eintracht so far and has featured for Germany’s U20 and U21 sides.

Eintracht have already brought in Noah Atubolu from Freiburg on an initial loan as a replacement.
