Leeds United have set out matchday parking changes at Elland Road for next season, with redevelopment ongoing, and the Fullerton Car Park closed in favour of off-site alternatives.

The club said in a statement that, following discussions with Leeds City Council, it will manage and operate the council car parks on matchdays and digitise entry to ease congestion. All spaces must be booked in advance via the club’s online ticketing platform, with no pay on the day.

Construction is focused initially on the West Stand, with sections demolished and floodlights removed, as part of plans to expand capacity to 53,000 by late-2030. Visible works are expected throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

The new system will also apply to Elland Road’s pre-season friendlies, with RB Leipzig visiting on Saturday August 8 and FC Augsburg on August 15.

The changes form part of a wider matchday travel plan aimed at preventing queues from car parks reaching the public highway, with further updates to follow during the season.

Leeds’ first home Premier League game is against Brentford on Sunday August 30, the same weekend as Leeds Festival.
