Leeds United are into the final three weeks of the summer window after adding three signings, Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic and club-record arrival James Trafford. The 2026-27 Premier League season begins with an away trip to Nottingham Forest in nine days, and the window runs until Tuesday, September 1 at 11pm.

On potential exits, Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that Joe Gelhardt was close to joining Hull City on a permanent deal. Belgian defender Sebastiaan Bornauw had also been expected to join Hamburg on loan, with an option to buy.

Bornauw played the full game in last night’s friendly against Manchester United, after which Daniel Farke offered updates on him, Gelhardt and goalkeeper Lucas Perri, who is set to join Torino following Leeds’ move for Trafford.

Farke praised Bornauw but said the Belgian wants regular 90-minute matches and suggested the next few days would be telling.

He added that Perri’s likely departure was no secret and that a solution might have been found for Gelhardt, with the Hull move believed to be around £4m. On incomings, Farke has already said he is convinced further signings will follow.
