Leeds United’s 11 departures, two arrivals and the big question mark | OneFootball

Leeds United have reshaped their squad early this summer, with 11 departures and two notable arrivals already confirmed.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, their second season back in the Premier League starts away to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday, 22 August, 3pm.

Before that, Daniel Farke takes his side to the United States this week for friendlies against Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool.

Among the confirmed exits, Isaac Schmidt has been sold to Young Boys for an undisclosed fee in the region of £2m. Pascal Struijk has joined Brighton for £18m plus £2m in potential add-ons.

Goalkeeper Karl Darlow has moved to Manchester United on a free after his Leeds contract expired this summer. Illan Meslier has signed for Arsenal on a free following the end of his deal.

Facundo Buonanotte has returned to parent club Brighton after his loan. Connor Douglas has left following the expiry of his contract.

Leeds head Stateside with a new look group and one major question still hanging over the squad ahead of the campaign.
