Leeds United face a pivotal run as they battle to secure their Premier League status, sitting 15th after Tuesday’s comeback draw at Chelsea and now six points clear of 18th-placed West Ham United. Leeds Live notes that Sean Dyche was dismissed by Nottingham Forest on Thursday following a 3-1 defeat at Elland Road and a goalless draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

First up is Aston Villa, away, Saturday, February 21, 3pm. Villa are third, six points off Arsenal, and inconsistent of late. They won 2-1 at Elland Road in November thanks to a Morgan Rogers double, and he remains a major threat.

Then comes Manchester City, home, Saturday, February 28, 5.30pm. Pep Guardiola’s side are formidable as they chase Arsenal. Leeds lost 3-2 at the Etihad after an injury-time winner, a display that sparked an upturn under Daniel Farke, and they will hope to go one better.

Sunderland, home, Tuesday, March 3, 3pm. Regis Le Bris’ surprise package have exceeded expectations in their first season back in the top flight. Their proud home unbeaten run ended 1-0 to Liverpool on Wednesday, and their away form has been less convincing, offering Leeds an opportunity.

Crystal Palace, away, Saturday, March 14, 3pm. The Eagles have only two home wins and have struggled under Oliver Glasner, who is set to leave at season’s end. With Palace two points ahead, this is a high-stakes meeting.

Brentford, home, Saturday, March 21, 8pm. Keith Andrews’ side have outperformed expectations, winning five away games but losing eight. Chasing Europe or not, a trip to Elland Road will test them, and Leeds’ home form could be decisive.
