Leeds United’s Premier League visit to Tottenham Hotspur has been rearranged for Monday, 11 May, with an eight pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
The Premier League has confirmed the matchweek 36 schedule, meaning Daniel Farke’s side will play their third to last game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that night.
It is shaping up as a major relegation six-pointer, with Leeds 15th in the table, two places and three points clear of Spurs.
Leeds and Tottenham will be the last of the relegation-threatened sides to play that weekend. Nottingham Forest host Newcastle at two pm on Sunday, 10 May, before West Ham welcome Arsenal to the London Stadium later that day.
A Monday slot leaves travelling supporters facing a late return from North London, with the match finishing close to 10 pm. London Kings’ Cross, the main station for services back to Leeds, is at least 40 minutes from the stadium by public transport.
It is the second Leeds fixture recently shifted under the lights. Burnley’s trip to Elland Road in gameweek 35 will now be on Friday, one May at eight pm, also live on Sky Sports.
