Leicester City have brought coach Adam Sadler back to assist Andy King after manager Marti Cifuentes left last weekend. Sadler returns to help King lead the team while the club search for a new boss.
According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, City have also confirmed the exits of Cifuentes' staff, assistant manager Xavi Calm, goalkeeping coach Javi Ortiz and consultant analyst Carlos Martinez.
King has been placed in interim charge and will lead City from the dugout when they host Charlton at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. He will hold his press conference on Friday morning to address the reaction to Cifuentes' exit and injuries in the squad.
With Cifuentes' staff gone, City would otherwise have been down to King and set-piece coach Andrew Hughes to run the team, so Sadler has been added to the staff.
Sadler spent nine years at City. First recruited as an analyst by Nigel Pearson, he was promoted to first-team coach under Claude Puel and continued in that role under Brendan Rodgers.
He took interim charge alongside Mike Stowell after Rodgers' departure and before Dean Smith's arrival, then left in summer 2023 following Enzo Maresca's appointment. He subsequently linked up with Rodgers at Celtic.
