Leicester City have signed Kamari Doyle on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion on deadline day, LeicesterMercury.co.uk reports.

Doyle, 21, becomes the Foxes’ fourth loan of the summer and their third from the Seagulls. He joins Emil Riis and John Lundstram as part of City’s deadline day business.

Tommy Watson and Harry Howell have both joined Russell Martin’s side, with Christian McFarlane arriving from Manchester City on loan.

Leicester are light in midfield after Hamza Choudhury’s move to Sheffield United at the weekend, with Oliver Skipp strongly linked with a move to Charlton Athletic. Louis Page has cemented his spot as Martin’s first-choice No. six, with Lundstram providing competition for the 18-year-old.

Doyle adds depth to the two attacking midfielder roles alongside Sammy Braybrooke and Conor Chaplin. Page featured there in pre-season, but Choudhury’s exit has left City short in the No. eight slot.

He started his career at Southampton and was at the club during Martin’s reign. He moved to Brighton in January 2024 but is yet to make his debut for the Seagulls.

He scored seven in 21 for Crawley and four in 24 for Exeter, then played 46 games for Reading in League One last season.
