Leicester City are working on permanent deals for John Lundstram, Emil Riis and Warren O'Hora on deadline day, with three departures also in play, according to LeicestershireLive.

The club have moved late in the window and are aiming for at least three additions before the 11pm cut-off, in the centre-back, central midfield and striker roles that Russell Martin had flagged. Martin has already made 10 signings this summer.

Lundstram is expected to add experience in midfield on a free. The 32-year-old helped Hull City win the Championship play-offs in May, then returned to Trabzonspor, with his contract in Türkiye set to be mutually terminated.

Riis emerged as a fresh option on Monday and the move has gathered pace. The 28-year-old is set to travel to Leicester for a medical, with an agreement anticipated between the clubs.

O'Hora did not feature in Hibernian's win over Dundee on Sunday and is now expected to reunite with Martin after their time together at MK Dons.

City have tabled a six-figure bid and are confident of completing the deal before the deadline. His arrival would bolster centre-back options after 19-year-old Ilari Kangasniemi joined from Inter Turku.

Wout Faes is expected to leave, with West Ham a likely destination. City are also considering other loan avenues for the defender, with West Ham pursuing Morato from Nottingham Forest.

Stephy Mavididi is joining Watford, though the terms remain unclear. Initially mooted as a loan, the switch could yet be permanent.

Woyo Coulibaly is close to a loan move to Genoa, a return to Italy.
