Leicester City are now finally active in the transfer market. Strong and confident defender Woyo Coulibaly has come into the Foxes squad. Probable first-choice full back Ricardo Pereira is still injured and not expected to return for a month or two. That left struggling James Justin as the only real available, so-called right back on the LCFC roster. Yet the entire Blue Army knows that Justin, while talented, is better suited to the left-hand side.
However, now that Coulibaly has joined the east Midlands outfit there is more scope for change, an upgrade or a significant improvement in the defence. The one-time England international may perhaps switch flanks giving the former a chance to show his best self on the opposing side. And, although the English Premier League is the most challenging division on the planet, the Frenchman is a gifted athlete who might flourish.
So, with that position now strengthened with what could be an underrated signing, what is the apparent next move at King Power Stadium? It is said that City wish to reinforce another couple of areas in the team.
As I say, if Coulibaly doesn't take Justin's place quickly, he could inspire the latter to at least improve. Though the ex-Luton Town player has gotten slightly better of late. Anyway, another part of the backline might also look different soon.
A centre-back is on the Leicestershire club's wishlist. There are struggles there too, as witnessed throughout the current season. A solid CB partnership that maintains is yet to be discovered.
