According to Globo.com, Palmeiras president Leila Pereira features in Forbes' 2026 list of Brazil's 250 richest. She is 81st overall with an estimated R$ 4.9 billion and ranks as the 15th richest woman.

Eduardo Saverin, a Facebook co-founder, tops the table on R$ 162.9 billion. The richest woman is Vicky Sarfati Safra of Banco Safra with R$ 130.6 billion.

The report notes that Pereira and her husband, José Roberto Lamacchia, own the personal-credit lender Crefisa, which serves borrowers with poor credit. They also invest in education through Faculdade das Américas (FAM), founded in 1998, and are significant backers of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, which she currently leads.

Crefisa and FAM sponsored Palmeiras for about a decade, a partnership that ended in late 2024.

Pereira's estimated wealth has risen from R$ 4.4 billion last year, when she was 42nd.

The list uses public, official and audited data, chiefly listed shareholdings valued at the 30 June 2026 close. Assets such as property, art, aircraft and boats are usually excluded unless participants provide reliable figures, and family holdings may be combined or separated.
