RB Leipzig have expressed concrete interest in TSG Hoffenheim midfielder Wouter Burger and have informed the player’s camp they wish to explore a deal, according to Soccernews.nl. Official contact with Hoffenheim is expected soon.
Leipzig are also working intensively on a move for Rocco Reitz, with an agreement already in place with the 23-year-old.

Burger joined Hoffenheim from Stoke City last summer for €four million, and his contract runs until 2030.
Any transfer could require a substantial fee.
It remains to be seen whether Leipzig view Burger as an alternative to Reitz or aim to bring in both.
