Florian Thauvin, who arrived last summer, is Lens’s highest earner for 2026, with recent arrivals dominating the club’s pay list. According to L'Équipe, the world champion leads a reshaped wage bill.
Four newcomers who were on big money abroad accepted reductions to join Pas-de-Calais, and they now comprise the top four, Thauvin, Allan Saint-Maximin, Odsonne Édouard and Amadou Haidara. The club has also cut the number of players paid more than €100,000 gross a month and wants to keep that trend.
Six members of the 2025 top 10 have departed over the past year, Mbala Nzola, Facundo Medina, Nampalys Mendy, Martin Satriano, Angelo Fulgini and Anass Zaroury. Sporting director Jean-Louis Leca sought to move on high earners relative to their status and to promote La Gaillette talents, notably on the bench.
Thauvin earns €200,000 gross monthly, with Saint-Maximin on €180,000 and Édouard on €150,000. Haidara and R. Aguilar are on €120,000.
J. Gradit, W. Saïd, A. Thomasson and F. Sotoca receive €110,000. M. Sarr and S. Baidoo are at €100,000. The average gross monthly salary is €80,000.
