Lens handed Manchester City and Liverpool in Champions League league phase | OneFootball

RC Lens have been drawn to face Manchester City and Liverpool in the Champions League league phase.

According to L'Équipe, the draw was staged on Thursday in Monaco. Lens will also meet Club Bruges, Sporting Portugal, Bodö/Glimt, Leipzig, Côme and Slavia Prague.

Lens will host Manchester City at Bollaert-Delelis and travel to Anfield to face Liverpool. The matches against Sporting Portugal, Bodö/Glimt and Côme are at home, while trips to Bruges, Leipzig and Slavia Prague are away.

Lens finished second in Ligue 1 last season.

On their last Champions League outing in 2023-2024, they ended third behind Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven under the old format, then moved into the Europa League, where Fribourg beat them in the play-offs.
