Lens interested in Como’s Ignace Van Der Brempt | OneFootball

RC Lens are looking to sustain their title charge in the second half of the season and so the club are looking to strengthen during the January transfer window. 

Les Sang et Or have already completed the signing of Amadou Haidara, who joined from Red Bull Leipzig at the start of the transfer window, and their interest has now turned to Como’s Ignace Van Der Brempt (23), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Van Der Brempt joined the Serie A side on a permanent deal from Red Bull Salzburg over the summer, however, he has found game time hard to come by during the first half of the campaign. To date, he has made just seven appearances, only four of which have come as starts. 

As a result, Como are not opposed to a departure for the former Belgium youth international. Lens are looking to make inroads on a loan move with an option to buy.
