Lens target RB Leipzig’s El Chadaille Bitshiabu | OneFootball

RC Lens are interested in Red Bull Leipzig defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu (21), according to a report from Le Parisien.

Bitshiabu left formative club Paris Saint-Germain to make the move to Germany back in the summer of 2023 for a €15m fee. However, the centre-back has not been a regular for the German side. Last season, he made 14 appearances in all competitions. He could now be set for a return to his native France and the former France youth international, Le Parisien understands, would not be opposed to a return to L’Héxagone.

Lens also interested in Zeze

Lens, who this season will compete in the UEFA Champions League, have made an enquiry about Bitshiabu, whose contract with RB Leipzig runs until 2029, and who is also attracting interest from other clubs.

Foot Mercato reported on Monday that Lens were also eyeing up France youth international Nathan Zeze, who joined Neom SC from FC Nantes last season. However, a deal for Zeze would be complex due to the costs involved, as well as the presence of competition from Bologna and Eintracht Frankfurt.
