Yeray Álvarez and Naia Suárez have become parents. Their son, Leo, was born on 17 June and the news was shared on social media in recent days.

According to El Correo, Álvarez had already revealed the name in a recent interview.

The couple learned of the pregnancy during the player’s suspension, and he later reflected that not everything in that period had been negative.

He returned to the pitch in April after 10 months suspended following a positive result in a UEFA anti-doping control. He has now completed his sanction.

After his comeback at Getafe, he said the months away had been complicated and dedicated his return to those who had supported him.
