Leon Goretzka ‘offered’ to Barcelona again by agents

La Pizarra de Quintana reports that agents have again offered out-of-contract Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka to Barcelona, the reigning La Liga champions, this summer.

Barcelona could be interested after Frenkie de Jong suffered a torn medial collateral ligament. Goretzka's camp hope to capitalise, but sporting director Deco is said to have blocked the move.

It is not the first attempt, with the German repeatedly linked in recent weeks without success. At Barcelona he could reunite with former coach Hansi Flick, whom he contacted in December last year.

One obstacle could be his terms. Goretzka is seeking €7 million per season and a signing bonus of around €10 million.

The 31-year-old has also been linked with clubs in Serie A, as well as Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire.
