Leonardo Jardim will oversee Flamengo’s sixth training session as the Super Data FIFA break rolls on, with preparations stepping up at Ninho do Urubu.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the squad returned on Wednesday, 30 September, after four days off to resume work at the club’s training base.
The session on Thursday, one October, is scheduled to start at 10:00, Brasília time, followed by media duties for Saúl, Léo Ortiz and Joaquín Freitas.
International call-ups have reduced numbers, with Samuel Lino and Pedro away with Brazil, Anthony Valencia with Ecuador, and Varela with Uruguay.
Arrascaeta, also on national-team duty, sustained an injury, has returned to Rio de Janeiro and will undergo surgery on Thursday.
The hiatus is due to end on Tuesday, six October. Flamengo then visit Santos on Thursday, eight October, in the Brasileirão’s 29th round, kick-off 19:30, Brasília time, at Vila Belmiro.
Super Data FIFA is a unified and extended international window introduced in 2026, replacing separate September and October slots. It lasts 16 days, from 21 September to six October 2026, and allows up to four matches, aiming to cut repeat long-haul travel while extending club stoppages beyond two weeks.
