Lescano tested to start as Vasco prepare for Coritiba clash | OneFootball

Vasco have completed preparations for Saturday’s Campeonato Brasileiro round 28 meeting with Coritiba at São Januário, 20:30 kick-off, with Alan Lescano trialled in the starting side.

According to Globo.com, head coach Pedro Emanuel should have all six of the club’s recent signings available together for the first time, and there will be changes to the starting XI.

Lescano was tested among the starters and could make his first start for the club in place of Tchê Tchê, who is suspended after his third yellow card.

Defender Gabriel Pereira is also available. Unveiled last Thursday, he was the last of the six additions to arrive in Rio de Janeiro and is already registered on the BID.

Cuesta missed the Santa Fe match with hip pain and is expected to return. If he is not ready, Saldivia and Gabriel Pereira will compete for the slot at centre-back.

Probable Vasco: Léo Jardim, Paulo Henrique, Cuesta (Saldivia or Gabriel), Robert Renan, Cuiabano, Sosa, Thiago Mendes, Lescano, Andrés Gómez, Adson (Bruno Duarte) and Colidio.

Vasco reach the final round before the FIFA break still in the relegation zone and need a combination of results to spend the interval outside the Z-4. They have 28 points from 26 games.
