Ibrahim Maza could soon be offered a new contract by Bayer Leverkusen as a reward for his impressive performances.
According to Sport Bild, the Bundesliga outfit are planning to extend the attacking midfielder’s contract beyond 2030, with an initial meeting with Maza's management already having already taken place.
Maza currently earns less than €3 million per season, which puts him in the lower third of Leverkusen’s squad, and Die Werkself are now ready to offer the youngster a significant pay rise to reflect his growing importance to the team.
The Algeria international was linked with several top clubs from England, as well as La Liga giants Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, during the summer transfer window.
He joined Die Werkself from Hertha BSC for a reported €12 million fee in the summer of 2025.
