Athletic will open a first team training session at Lezama to the public on Thursday 16 July at 11:00, a plan flagged by Edin Terzic during his Tuesday unveiling at San Mamés.

The club said in a statement that entry will be limited to members and Club Athletic members, with free tickets to be reserved in advance until capacity is reached because of school holidays and the risk of overcrowding.

Under Ernesto Valverde, open sessions were staged two or three times each season, including a Christmas date at San Mamés. Morning sessions are typically closed, aside from the first 15 minutes available to the media.

Each membership card, whether member or Club Athletic, allows one invitation only, which is required for entry to Lezama on the day.

Supporters without access can watch a live stream on Athletic Play. Terzic is currently working with 30 players, with four World Cup players still away.
