Joao Pedro opened the scoring with a brilliant strike, whilst Cole Palmer rounded out the scoring from the penalty spot in the second half.

Sanchez made two costly errors against Arsenal but retained his place in the side for the Brentford game, and put in a brilliant performance.

However, Sanchez made a brilliant save from Kevin Schade in the second half to keep the scores level, which arguably is one of the reasons Chelsea won the game.

The Spaniard’s distribution was also excellent, especially one ball in the first half to Pedro Neto, and Rosenior hailed Sanchez’s performance as “outstanding.”

“He was outstanding today,” he told his post match press conference.

“He was outstanding in his distribution, a couple of fantastic long passes to our wide players, in terms of his command of the box, in terms of the saves that we needed him to make.

“It was a fantastic performance. It doesn’t surprise me. I’ve known Rob for a long time. He’s a very, very resilient lad.”

West Ham interested in Filip Jorgensen

Whilst Sanchez continues to impress, Filip Jorgensen is looking for a way out of the club in search for more regular first team football.

With the World Cup in the summer Jorgensen has a chance to be Denmark’s number one, but needs to be playing regular football, which isn’t happening at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham are believed to be interested as well as Turkish side Besiktas, but Chelsea don’t want to let him leave as it means they’ll need to sign a replacement keeper this month.
