There are still many chapters left to be written in the story of Alicia Cervantes and Chivas Femenil. With great pride and excitement, Club Deportivo Guadalajara announces that ‘Licha’ has renewed her contract with the Rebaño Sagrado, meaning that the all-time leading scorer in Rojiblanca history will remain with the club of her heart through 2028.
Born in Los Altos de Jalisco, Cervantes has defined a golden era not only for Chivas, but also for Liga MX Femenil, establishing herself as the league’s all-time top scorer with 176 goals to her name.
Her journey with the Rebaño Sagrado has been nothing short of extraordinary since her arrival in Apertura 2020. In addition to winning the Liga MX Femenil title in Clausura 2022 and the Campeón de Campeones AP21–CL22, she has left a lasting mark both domestically and internationally.
‘Licha’ has scored 156 official goals as a Rojiblanca, considering her dominant performances in league play as well as her participation in the 2024 Summer Cup, where she became the first player in club history to score in an official tournament outside of Mexico.
Moreover, she has been a key figure in helping Chivas Femenil qualify for the playoffs in 11 consecutive tournaments, consistently positioning the team as one of the strongest contenders in the league.
