Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs have received provisional 2026-27 revenue estimates, still low but roughly in line with this season.
According to L'Équipe, the LFP sent an indicative distribution guide, noting projections could shift with Ligue 1+ subscriber totals or if international rights rise.
The document underpins budgets before DNCG hearings. An uplift looks unlikely unless a platform buys the rights, if they return to market as expected by Nicolas de Tavernost.
LFP Media is not using last season’s Ligue 1+ plan, which targeted 1.5 million subscribers and €320m for 2026-27, assuming a ninth match. Experts said a ninth match could add nearly 30%, around 200,000 to 300,000, while the base is about one million and has dipped.
New projections point to €170.1m from the league channel, €1m from France TV and €137.6m internationally. Only €6.5m of the latter is shared by all, most goes to UEFA-coefficient clubs, a split several want to revisit. Lille and Brest oppose, PSG, OM and Lyon are more open.
Overall rights are estimated at €412.2m gross, with €121.4m of charges and €65.5m for CVC deducted. After €29.2m for Ligue 2 and €12m in relegation aid, €184.1m remains for Ligue 1, of which €112.5m is shared by the 18, with €71.6m reserved for UEFA-index clubs.
On domestic income, the top club could receive €11.7m, the bottom €3.6m. This season’s comparable figures are €12m and €3.7m, per a late September 2025 simulation, with similar levels next year helped by €63.5m from the reserve fund.
