Sinayoko delivered a brilliant performance against Lille tonight, but his double wasn't enough to secure victory.

AJ Auxerre and LOSC Lille put on a goal-filled show this Sunday afternoon. Lille took the lead in the first half and managed to keep up their attacking momentum, finishing the match with four goals.
After Hákon Arnar Haraldsson opened the scoring in the 9th minute, AJ Auxerre responded after the break thanks to Lassine Sinayoko. Set up by Kevin Danois, the Malian striker equalized in the 57th minute. Driven by an own goal from Congolese defender Chancel Mbemba, which put Auxerre ahead 2-1, Sinayoko tried to secure the win for his side with a brace, converting a penalty in the 83rd minute.
Unfortunately, this 6th goal of the season in Ligue 1 for Lassine Sinayoko wasn't enough. LOSC Lille managed to clinch the victory thanks to goals from Nabil Bentaleb (77'), Soriba Diaoune (80'), and Benjamin André (86').
