Terem Moffi’s (26) future at OGC Nice is up in the air. The Nigerian was one of two players subjected to violence from his own fans at the end of November, and he is subsequently considering his future with Le Gym.
Moffi and Nice faced FC Lorient on 30th November, losing 3-1. It continued a dreadful streak for les Aiglons, who were met by angry fans upon their return to the Côte d’Azur. Moffi was targeted, having been broadcast laughing and joking with Lorient president Loic Fery after the defeat. He knew Fery from his time with Les Merlus.
Moffi has since been on sick leave, and he will also miss Thursday’s game against Braga in the UEFA Europa League, having seen that sick leave extended. L’Équipe understands that the Nigerian has yet to make a decision on his future, however, there is already interest.
As per Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Ligue 1 clubs are showing interest in the centre-forward ahead of the January transfer window.
