Ligue 1: Marseille let victory slip away against Paris FC

On Saturday night, Olympique de Marseille suffered yet another frustrating evening. Leading 2-0, OM saw Paris FC claw their way back in the closing minutes to snatch a dramatic 2-2 draw.

Mason Greenwood opened the scoring from the penalty spot as early as the 18th minute, before setting up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the second goal (53rd). Everything seemed to be going according to Roberto De Zerbi’s plan.

But as has often been the case this season, the closing stages proved Marseille’s undoing. Jonathan Ikoné pulled one back in the 82nd minute, and a stoppage-time penalty converted by Ilan Kebbal (90+4) completed the comeback.

Next up for OM: a crucial Coupe de France tie against Rennes on Tuesday—a key opportunity to restore confidence and hope.
