On Tuesday night Lille lost 2-3 at home to Betis, undone by a poor start to the second half.

L'Équipe notes that Nathan Ngoy was largely ineffective, losing two major duels and failing to win any of his three. One of those came as Marc Bartra netted his second in the 49th minute.

The hosts fell behind on 33 minutes, then conceded twice more soon after the interval, the second of those arriving on 53 minutes.

Marc Bartra had not scored in the Champions League since 14 September 2016, against Legia Warsaw.

Goalkeeper Berke Özer was rated 5. He made no save before the break and was still without a stop until the 76th minute, with no clear blame attached to the three goals.
