Lille interested in signing Mathys Tel on loan from Tottenham | OneFootball

Speaking on RMC Sport show, Rothen S’enflamme, the former Monaco player has revealed that Lille OSC are interested in signing Mathys Tel (19) on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the Spurs head coach is reluctant to see any players leave North London before the end of the transfer window, making a potential move for the former Bayern Munich forward difficult for the Ligue 1 club.

The French attacker has been struggling for minutes at the Premier League club. Despite making 16 appearances in the Premier League this season, most of these appearances have been from the bench. Tel has only amassed 639 minutes of playing time in the English first division this season. 

Tel to stay at Tottenham?

Lille are not the only club to show an interest in the France youth international forward. Paris FC have also shown an interest in signing him on loan. Nevertheless, with Frank reluctant to see players depart before the window closes, a move looks unlikely.
