Lille predicted XI v Crvena Zvezda: Tiago Santos to retain starting spot | OneFootball

Tiago Santos is set to once again start at right-back in the absence of Thomas Meunier. The Belgian defender is not fit to face Crvena Zvezda as Lille OSC look to overturn a one-goal deficit in their UEFA Europa League play-off. 

Having lost 1-0 at home last week, Lille head to Serbia in need of a result. Bruno Genesio must contend with absences, as he has regularly in recent weeks. The likes of Alexsandro, Meunier, Ethan Mbappé, Hamza Igamane, and Osame Sahraoui are all out. Marius Broholm is also absent from this game as the Norwegian has not been included in LOSC’s Europa League squad. 

Olivier Giroud will once again start in the No.9 role, due to the lack of options in this sector of the pitch. Gaetan Perrin, meanwhile, is not expected to start, with Félix Correia likely favoured on the right of the attack.
