Lille predicted XI v Freiburg: Bruno Genesio to field strong line-up in crunch Europa League clash | OneFootball

Lille OSC may have to get a result against Freiburg in order to seal their UEFA Europa League qualification this evenng. 

LOSC are yet to win in any competition in 2026 and the pressure is now building on Genesio. Les Dogues are currently 21st in the standings, just one point above the elimination zone. As a result, there is no question of resting any of the club’s key players. 

However, there are absences for Lille, notably Hamza Igamane, who underwent surgery on his ACL injury earlier this week. Genesio is also without Thomas Meunier, Nabil Bentaleb, André Gomes, and Osame Sahraoui, due to injury, most notably, whilst Ethan Mbappé is ineligible for this encounter. 

However, there is a boost in the form of Benjamin André, who is expected to return and to captain the side.
