Lille OSC will be without captain Benjamin André for tonight’s game against reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The midfielder suffered a shoulder injury during the Coupe de France defeat against Olympique Lyonnais last weekend. It looked to be a serious injury, and Bruno Génésio, questioned on the topic during the pre-match press conference, could not put a timeframe on André’s return.

However, there is good news for Lille in the form of two returnees. The first is Alexsandro, who is back from suspension, having been sent off during the defeat against Stade Rennais on 3rd January. The second is Aissa Mandi, who has joined back up with his club teammates following Algeria’s elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). However, neither is expected to start tonight.

Lille likely line-up v PSG

Berke Ozer; Romain Perraud, Chancel Mbemba, Nathan Ngoy, Thomas Meunier; Ayyoub Bouaddi, Nabil Bentaleb; Félix Correia, Hakon Arnar Haraldsson, Ethan Mbappé; Olivier Giroud. (L’Éq)
