Lille set five-day Germany camp for early August

Lille will hold a five-day training camp in Germany from three to seven August under new head coach Davide Ancelotti.

According to L'Équipe, the camp had been anticipated for several weeks and was confirmed on Thursday. Ancelotti's squad returned to training on six July and open their league campaign at Angers on 23 August at 15:00.

After opting for Germany last summer in Iserlohn, south of Dortmund, Lille will head slightly further north to Klosterpforte, near Bielefeld.

A friendly will take place at the end of the week, with the opponent still to be confirmed.

The Dogues will then conclude their preparation on 15 August with a showpiece match at Everton.
