Lille ‘to offer’ €10m for Ryan Roberto, with Shakhtar bid rejected

Lille are understood to have signalled a €10 million proposal for 18-year-old Flamengo forward Ryan Roberto, according to ESPN Brasil. The French club have joined Shakhtar Donetsk in the race for the teenager.

The indicated offer is worth around R$ 58.5 million at current rates. Flamengo are aiming to leverage the interest to secure a higher fee.

Shakhtar recently had a bid of €8 million guaranteed, plus a further €2 million in bonuses, turned down, though the Ukrainian club remain keen on the player.

Ryan Roberto is under contract with Flamengo until March 2027. The Rio side now hold 70% of his economic rights after a recent 20% purchase, with the remaining 30% owned by Athletico-PR.

Flamengo face Vasco at the Maracanã on Sunday 03, with kick-off at 16:00 Brasília time, in the 14th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
