It is understood that the Reds are eager to get a deal done for the French forward but are facing competition from Chelsea and Manchester United in pursuit of him this off-season.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a fine campaign at the German club after he produced a series of impressive displays as the focal point of their attack. Ekitike banged in 22 goals and grabbed 12 assists in 48 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt last season across various competitions.

The French forward led the line for the German outfit as he averaged 4.0 shots per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. He kept 38.6% of his attempts on target. Is Ekitike A Decent Fit For Liverpool?

Ekitike excels at finding some space for himself to get a few strikes in on target. He has got the vision to create a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is usually quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area.

The French forward can use his 1.90m frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He can contribute by scoring and creating a lot of important goals for his team up top.
